A HOME-GROWN coaching panel will take charge of the region's best underage talent in the TAC Cup next season.
The Geelong Falcons have appointed Andy Allthorpe as their new coach for 2012 following the departure of Aaron Greaves to join Melbourne.
Allthorpe has served as an assistant coach to Greaves, Paul Hood and Garry Hocking at the Falcons for the past few years and also led Bell Park to three consecutive under-18 GFL premierships between 2004-06.
Serving under Allthorpe as his assistants are South Barwon premiership coach Matt Verfurth, ex-Torquay mentor Luke Rayner and Dave Farrell.
